A versatile actor, John made his film debut in the independent feature "Sun Goddess". He also made a notable appearance in the award-winning short, "Farm Dogs".
A native of Southern Ontario, John first caught the acting bug back in elementary school, and continued performing in numerous school plays throughout high school. John then went on to receive his B.A. in Dramatic Arts from Brock University, and is the proud holder of an M.F.A. in Acting from the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in New York City. At Pace, John benefited immensely from the teaching of renowned acting coaches, Susan Aston and Jacqueline Knapp. He also attended numerous "Inside the Actors Studio" seminars, where he was once able to ask Al Pacino a question, during the Q&A portion of the broadcast! His thesis performance and Off-Broadway debut was as "The Mastiff" in the Jen Silverman play, "The Moors". John was also able to immerse himself in the thriving independent film scene, during his years in New York. In Los Angeles, John trained at the famed Ivana Chubbuck Studio, as well as at the Actor's Intensive with Kirk Baltz. His journey has taken him from coast-to-coast throughout Canada and the United States.
Apart from film and television work, John was a member of the Toronto-based experimental theatre company, Back Burner Productions, for three years.
